Oftentimes when I’m working on an assignment or project, I open a lot of tabs on my computer for references of various objects, places, and bodies. However, accidents can happen or sometimes I get too fed up with my cluttered browser that I lose all my tabs of my references. I am sure many artists suffer the same thing as I do.
Therefore, the mobile app I am proposing is an artist’s life reference app. It will function similarly to Tumblr and Pinterest where people can input multiple tags and keywords of what they’re looking for into the search bar. From there, users can bookmark images and add images to their specially curated albums. Another special feature of this app is that people can upload their own reference images that they take with their camera. They can add it to their own private albums and also tag the image with keywords so that other people can find it too. Another function of this app is the 3D model of the human body.
The feedback I received for my proof of concept prototype said that my concept was clear and they have said that the app seems useful and appealing. Because the format is similar to Pinterest, Tumblr, and other social media, the user flow was not unfamiliar. The next phase for me would be to actually recreate the mobile app experience on Sketch and Principle and also add a few more functions to test out.
