[Prototype] 2nd Edition Kazu App – Mai Saito

Kazu is a multilingual app that explores numbers in 6 languages—English, Spanish, Mandarin, French, Arabic, and Japanese.

Since the first prototype and another round of user testing, I’ve tweaked this and that to improve the interface.

I moved away from Sketch and used After Effects to get the responsive movement that I wanted with the rolling numbers and scrolling. The information tab’s transition has also changed to be more seamless with its movement going offscreen.

I also added a way for the user to easily continue their experience at the end with the number “10” by incorporating a re-do button. The re-do button automatically scrolls the user back to the home page to start the sequence over.
