Continuing the discussion of interactivity last week, we examined popular text-based mobile games Lifeline, Device 6 and analyzed how the apps are successful in engaging users with only text. Twine, a online tool for building interactive narrative experiences, was introduced to students for them to experiment.

Students were assigned to collect and analyze 5 well-design applications and list out the key visual elements in them last week. After sharing the observation, we learnt how Sketch help with producing those elements fast and easy to modify. Nucleo, an icon organizing software, was also introduced to assist with the production process.
